SEOHO LAB Strengthens R&D Foundation through Technology Transfer from Soonchunhyang University
Secures Original Technology for Antioxidant Peptides... Accelerating High-Functional Ingredient Development
SEOHO LAB Co., Ltd. has announced the official technology transfer of a registered patent related to antioxidant peptides (Patent No. 10-1665180) from the Soonchunhyang University Industry-Academy Cooperation Foundation. This technology transfer is expected to serve as a core asset for the bio-based, high-functional cosmetic R&D currently being pursued by SEOHO LAB.
The patent involves technology for antioxidant peptides characterized by their ability to inhibit oxidative stress and maximize anti-aging antioxidant effects. Notably, through various experimental validations—such as the inhibition of LDL oxidation and the reduction of TBARS (Thiobarbituric Acid Reactive Substances)—the technology has demonstrated superior antioxidant performance compared to conventional apolipoproteins.
A representative from the SEOHO LAB Research Institute stated, "This patent technology transfer is not just a formal procedure; it is an opportunity to elevate our R&D depth as a research-driven enterprise." They added, "We will maximize synergy in the development of high-functional ingredients, bio-ampoules, and antioxidant solutions."
Based on this technology, SEOHO LAB plans to develop product lines focused on skincare, scalp care, and antioxidant bio-materials.
