SEOHO LAB Co., Ltd. has announced that its proprietary "Method for Manufacturing Gold Nanoparticles Using Abelmoschus manihot (Gold Hibiscus) Extract" was officially registered as a patent on November 26, 2025.
The registered technology is a process that enables the stable production of gold nanoparticles using Gold Hibiscus extract without the use of organic solvents or harmful reducing agents. Based on this technology, SEOHO LAB has developed AbelGold™, an eco-friendly and low-irritant nano-ingredient, and has applied it to various product lines including skincare and scalp care.

In particular, as demand for natural nanomaterials rises in Hong Kong and Southeast Asian markets, SEOHO LAB is receiving continuous partnership requests from global clients.
A researcher at SEOHO LAB stated, "The technology to manufacture gold nanoparticles using only natural extracts is one of our core competencies. This patent registration is a meaningful achievement that officially recognizes its technical value."
