SEOHO LAB Honored with the "Gyeonggi Provincial Governor’s Commendation"

Recognized for technological innovation in natural functional ingredients

SEOHO LAB Co., Ltd. (CEO So-hee Lee) has been officially recognized for its innovative technology development and contributions to the regional economy, receiving a commendation from the Governor of Gyeonggi Province. The award ceremony took place on December 1, 2025.

Since joining the Bucheon Business Incubation Center of the Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology (KICET) in 2023, SEOHO LAB has achieved remarkable growth as a technology-driven cosmetics startup. The company has focused on the commercialization of high-functional materials using ingredients derived from domestic sources, expanding its collaborations with both domestic and international cosmetic brands.

SEOHO LAB’s competitive edge stems from its continuous R&D. The company has secured technological superiority through various innovative research achievements, such as gold nanoparticle technology using Abelmoschus manihot (Gold Hibiscus) and the development of natural materials that enhance the efficacy of plant extracts. This strong technical foundation has accelerated its entry into global markets, particularly in Asia.

Based on industry-academic-research cooperation, SEOHO LAB has established a robust research system and focused on the practical application of technology and product premiumization. Furthermore, the company has built a solid foundation as a specialized tech enterprise through certifications as a Women-Owned Business and a Venture Business, as well as the establishment of its own Corporate R&D Center.

CEO So-hee Lee stated, "By staying true to our R&D-centered corporate philosophy, we were able to create meaningful results in a short period." She added, "We will continue to grow as a company that contributes to enhancing the international competitiveness of the Gyeonggi beauty industry and expanding the export of K-beauty technology."
