SEOHO LAB’s Functional Cosmetic Formulation Research Receives Academic Recognition

On December 13, 2025, SEOHO LAB Co., Ltd. was honored with the Outstanding Paper Award at the 64th Winter Conference hosted by The Korean Society of Cosmetology.

This award is the result of a joint research project between SEOHO LAB and Sookmyung Women's University. The study, which scientifically validated the efficacy of functional cosmetic formulations, received high academic praise for its rigor and contribution to the field.

The award-winning paper is titled "The Effect of Lecithin-Based Liposomal Beta-Sitosterol Ampoules on Nasolabial Fold Depth and Lifting." The research provides an experimental analysis of the active ingredient delivery technology using lecithin-based liposomal formulations and its subsequent skin improvement effects.

The study was highly regarded for its practical application in cosmetic formulation research, specifically for designing delivery systems that increase the efficiency of functional ingredients and for demonstrating potential improvements in skin elasticity and wrinkle reduction. Notably, the formulation technology used in this study is the same technology applied to SEOHO LAB’s internally developed product, 'Skin On You Beta Moist Ampoule.'

Through this award, SEOHO LAB has once again proven its research capabilities as a technology-driven cosmetics company. Moving forward, the company plans to focus on advancing evidence-based cosmetic technology by bridging the gap between academic research and product development.

A representative from the SEOHO LAB Research Institute stated, "It is very meaningful to have our research results officially recognized at a major academic conference. We will continue to develop cosmetic technologies backed by scientific evidence through ongoing collaboration with universities and research institutions."
