Seoholab Participates in National IP Commercialization Project

Advanced Technology Transfer Agreement with Sookmyung Women’s University

Selected as a commercialization partner for outstanding public technologies,
strengthening its next-generation high-functional product line based on R&D expertise.

Seoholab Co., Ltd. (CEO Sohee Lee) has been selected as a partner company for the IP Star Scientist Continuous Support Program, hosted by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology Commercialization (COMPA).

The IP Star Scientist Program is a national initiative designed to expand universities’ proprietary intellectual property (IP) into industry by selecting capable companies and supporting technology transfer and commercialization.

As a partner company in the second phase of the program, Seoholab will receive high-value phyto-material technology developed by the research team at Sookmyung Women's University and begin advancing its product portfolio.

Through this project, Seoholab plans to:

Optimize proprietary ingredient formulations

Secure clinical data to verify technological performance

Strengthen product competitiveness based on intellectual property (IP)

The majority of the project budget will be strategically invested in ingredient advancement and scientific validation (clinical and efficacy studies), reinforcing a strong technological barrier that is difficult to replicate and delivering evidence-based premium solutions to consumers.
