- Passed a highly competitive technology evaluation process selecting only six companies in Bucheon City
- Advancing biomimetic SECOLGI technology and dual-layer formulation technology for the new product “Skin On You Beta Acting Mist”
- Intensive investment from raw material formulation to precision clinical testing to establish proprietary technological barriers
Technology-driven cosmetics R&D company Seoholab Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Sohee) announced that it has been finally selected for the “2026 Bucheon City SME Technology Innovation Support Program” organized by the Bucheon Industry Promotion Agency.
This support program was established to promote technological innovation in the manufacturing and knowledge service sectors among SMEs located in Bucheon City, while fostering local technology companies and strengthening regional industrial competitiveness. Excluding simple product production or promotional support, the project is a highly selective initiative that provides concentrated R&D funding to only six companies in Bucheon City following rigorous technology evaluations.
Seoholab received high recognition for the excellence and commercialization potential of its proprietary SECOLGI (Ceramide, Cholesterol, and Fatty Acid)-based biomimicry formula and dual-layer formulation technology, leading to its final selection.
Through this project, Seoholab will officially begin seven months of R&D research through November to secure next-generation core technologies. In particular, the company plans to focus its budget on advancing the key formulation technology of its upcoming product “Skin On You Beta Acting Mist” and conducting precision clinical testing to verify its skin barrier improvement efficacy. Through these efforts, Seoholab aims to secure strong intellectual property (IP) rights, elevate product quality, and further strengthen technological barriers that competitors cannot easily replicate.
Lee Sohee, CEO of Seoholab, stated, “We are extremely pleased to be selected for the Technology Innovation Support Program, which is granted to only six companies following Bucheon City’s strict technology evaluation process,” adding, “Through this project, we will complete ‘Skin On You Beta Acting Mist’ as a distinctive premium barrier-care product backed by clear scientific evidence from raw materials to clinical data.”
Seoholab plans to officially begin the technology development project starting with the participating company training session and agreement ceremony to be held at the BIZ Hall of the Bucheon Industry Promotion Agency on May 29.
