SEOHO LAB Co., Ltd. has been finally selected as a participating company in the “K-Beauty Startup Scale-Up Program” hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in China and organized by the Shanghai Global Business Center (GBC) of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME).
The program is structured to systematically support the expansion of K-beauty startups into the Chinese market through a step-by-step approach. Seminars on market entry strategies, including certification and distribution, will be held locally in Shanghai. In addition, major and mid-sized beauty companies already active in China, including Amorepacific and COSMECCA, will participate to provide mentoring and networking opportunities.
The program also includes competency enhancement support such as business consulting and IR presentation coaching. Furthermore, a pop-up store will be operated at a department store located in a major commercial district of Shanghai, alongside company introduction sessions, investment attraction opportunities, and export consultation meetings.
SEOHO LAB has already been accelerating its global market expansion through exports to the United States, Singapore, Puerto Rico, and other regions. Through participation in this Shanghai-based program, the company plans to further strengthen its certification and distribution network foundation for entering the Chinese market.
CEO Sohee Lee of SEOHO LAB stated, “As this is a nationally supported program, we intend to make full use of this valuable opportunity to directly communicate with buyers in Shanghai and assess local market responses firsthand,” adding, “Through the pop-up store and export consultation meetings, we will actively explore the potential of the Skin On You brand in the Chinese market.”
